What to expect when receiving LENS:
LENS is FDA approved, is non-invasive and not painful, in fact many people do not feel anything. During the session, sensors are placed on the scalp. Using EEG technology these sensors pick up brain wave activity in real time, sophisticated computer software captures, extracts and analyzes these brainwave frequencies. Through a patented process we then bring this information back to the client’s brain through the sensors. Each clients EEG signals are unique to them and constantly changing. The LENS measures these ever changing signals and matches the feedback to the clients own physiological (neurological) fingerprint. This signal interrupts dysfunctional brainwave patterns allowing the brain to reorganize. The result is greater relaxation, sense of ease and improved emotional resilience. The sessions themselves are brief lasting only a few minutes. Clients generally need a series of sessions for the brain to reorganize and “hold on” to these changes. Initial results are typically seen in 1-4 sessions, with the average number of sessions per client hovering around 11 with more complicated medical histories requiring longer treatment up to 20 or more. Results are long lasting with some exceptions. Examples of this are progressive conditions such as Parkinsons and MS which requires ongoing treatment in order to sustain improvement.
Unlike traditional neurofeedback sessions, LENS:
1) Does not require conscious effort and attention to stimuli by the client.
2) Sessions last, on average, a few seconds to minutes each.
3) The average number of sessions is significantly less
